Your solution is on the other side

Most of our problems have an emotional aspect. What we believe, perceive, think, feel… give us some emotions on any situation, and so about any problem.

The thing with our emotions is that they give us a sensation of reality. If I feel sad in a situation, I am convinced that the situation is sad. Even though it depends on the perception and the interpretation I have of it. And that’s the same for everything else!

So when I have a problem, I look at it as if the problem was what I perceive. And I am convinced that I’m looking at the reality in its entirety. So I look for a solution from this “reality”.

But we live in an emotional world. And if our emotions are real, what they make us perceive is not the reality.

Say, for exemple, that you’re trying to regain more confidence. You’re going to try to find a solution to your “lack” of confidence. But this lack is only a perception. And maybe it would be wiser and more realistic to realise you lack nothing. But you have this sensation. And now you behave as a person who lacks confidence, because you felt (through your emotions) that it was the reality.

What I want to demonstrate here is that the solutions we’re looking for are most of the time exactly opposite to where we are looking.

What you focus on develops!

Focus on your lack of confidence, and it will grow. But focus on your ability to manage a situation, and that is what will grow!!!

The solution is not in the problem, but on the other side! You want a solution to your lack of confidence? Don’t try to solve the lack, but develop your confidence. Even if you feel it doesn’t exist!

What is the problem you want to solve? What is the reality you want? Let the first be what it is, and now create the opposite!
