1- Our brain manages an incredible amount of information. What is made aware, what we have in mind, is not the reality, but only a very little fraction. This fragment is what is supposed to be of interest according to our beliefs, thoughts, perceptions…
If your thoughts are filled with a problem, you’ll see every things that relate to and confirm this problem.
If you are enthusiastic about an idea, you’ll notice all things related to its realisation.
2- Our brain “translates” every piece of reality into something that confirms its own truths and perceptions of the reality.
If you feel threatened in certain circumstances, not only will you notice all things relating, but you’ll amplify those elements. In the same time your brain will diminish, and even neglect and forget all elements that would go on the opposite direction.
Now let’s say you are very confident about yourself in a situation. This time your brain will magnify all elements that will prove you right, and will even bring to your awarness all idea, all memory that can help you!
At the end of the day, what will you remember of a given situation? What will you learn as a lesson? How will you react the next time in the same situation? What are you going to do next?
Everything in your life depends on your perception. And this perception is totally controlled by what you focus on. Then your experience of a situation is determined, and so is your life!
We are always focusing by different means
- What we think (every single second!!!)
- What we believe
And that will inevitably lead to:
- Different attitudes
- Different behaviors
- Different reactions
And so is built your life!
Now make a very clear choice about:
- What you want to think all day long
- What beliefs you want to entertain
And start to build your life according to your own choices!
