Fighting the inertia

Changing anything in your life amounts to fighting against some kind of inertia.

You can call it a habit, a belief system, or even a sense of who you are. And it can be extremely difficult to perceive another kind of reality beyond that.

So how can you fight the inertia?

First remember that an inertia is bound to fade away if you don’t bring anymore energy into it.

So the less you keep that inertia alive the quicker it will disappear. It has not a lot to do with time, but much more with how much you maintain it.

In the meantime you have to create another inertia. And as any inertia, at first it requires a lot of energy just to start moving. But the more you build it, the easier it becomes and the faster it grows!

This new inertia is actually a new habit, or more intensely, a new set of beliefs and a new sense of who you are!

It is not a little thing!

The direction you’re taking, the person you become has to be much more pleasant and appealing than your previous story. That’s at this level that you have to act! That is where you must exert your power to change!

All your attention, focus and energy have to be pointed towards everything that builds this new story. Everything that makes it appealing, desirable. Everything that makes you dream of this new reality!

Only at this point can there be another inertia created. Only at this point a real change can take place! Only then can you transform the way you perceive yourself, the way you act, the way you live!

Yes!!! Change is created by obession!

When you want to change, ask yourself: are you obsessed enough with the new reality you want? And if not there are only 2 options:

  • What you want is not that important
  • You have to cultivate and grow your awareness of what really matters to you. By any means!

In any case, YOU have the power to choose!
