You can only go to a better place

I’d say that the first law to change any important aspect of our life is:

What you focus on develops

Now the second law (at least an aspect as important as that!) is:

You can only go to better place

What I mean is that a lot of times we fight to do something that is difficult. We want to go in a difficult direction which, in the end, is supposed to bring us satisfaction.

I only agree to a certain extent to this idea: we need to put some energy and it requires a constant effort. But that’s it!

The path by itself has not to be more difficult. If you are on your way to your holiday destination, it won’t be very difficult to take. Because this way is just a little trouble for a real and certain result! Yes you have to take your car and drive, but that’s not that difficult and you are already so happy to reach your destination that the path is more an enjoyable moment than anything else. How could that be difficult???

If our way to a better place is really difficult, it means we are in one of two cases:

  • We have set course for the wrong destination. We tell ourself that it is a very important goal, but it is clearly not that important for us. At least compared to other things that are much more important to us, but that we’re probably overlooking
  • We don’t understand what the real destination is. And we don’t realise we are going on vacation for example. And that to get up early that morning was just a little effort to reach the sun during the same day!

In any case, a clear vision of what the reality is is the solution to our problems! And the direction to take become obvious and pretty easy!
