My focus on Salsa

I started to dance salsa at the beginning of summer (2 months agos). That’s something that brings me important improvements in my life:

  • a means to express myself with my body (which I had lost since I stopped doing judo, 5/6 years ago)
  • an activity that gives me enthusiasm
  • a practice that demands I surpass myself (as I’m not really a dancer initially)
  • a means to meet new people who I can share something we’re both interested in with
  • a means to meet more girls in my life

For all those reasons I’m really into that activity!

It gives me a lot of opportunities to improve the quality of my life. And so I’ve really decided to dedicate myself to it.

My goal has been very clear since the beginning: I want to get the most of it from day one, and to continue at that pace until the end of the year (june 2017). I expect a lot from this activity, and for that I put a lot of focus on:

  1. the kind of results I want
  2. what makes me feel enthusiastic about it

That’s really what keeps me all in the direction I want and what prevents me from getting stuck on bad emotions or negative images of myself.

And I’m pretty sure I’m going to move very quickly and reach a point where I find again all my joy to express myself, live and feel I’m fully myself!

The real good thing about that is that focusing on something that gives you good emotions and where you take action in the same time feels like the recipe for happiness and improvements of all kind!

Enthusiasm + actions = great life!
