We’re led by our emotions not by what we want

I’m in the middle of my experiment to focus more and more on what I want in my life.

First that helps me to define what has a real importance to me, and what I thought was important but is not as important as I believed.

Then I realize that I spend most of my day on emotions and thoughts that are either:

  • what I don’t want/like
  • feelings of incapability to be who I want

Now the real matter is to be able to stop being led by my emotions and thoughts that are unconsciously triggered all day long. And to choose more and more where I want to focus my thoughts and attention.

In a way, that seems as simple as that: the more you get into the habit of asking yourself what you want in your day, what is important to you, the more you’re changing your life.
