Exclusivity is only a lack of abundance
Exclusivity means that the disapperance of the unique thing brings a total lack of it. Should this be important, or even vital, it means you’re in big troubles!
Don’t put all your eggs in one basket. You know that. Although it depends on what we’re talking about, the object of this warning is that if you drop your basket you loose absolutely all your eggs.
When considering the world, we know that everything is changing everytime. Nothing is permanent, and so whatever you’re betting on, wether it be a person, a job, a condition… sooner or later, you’re going to loose your bet!
How foolish would it be to be exclusive on such things! It would be like condemning ourself to loosing, but just a little later…
If you assessed that you can aford to loose on this particular aspect, that’s ok. But if you think that loosing everything in this area would be castratrophic, then it becomes insane to continue to be exclusive.
When considering a lot of paramount aspects in our life, it seems we live most of the time in an insane way.
2 important aspects where we should develop abundance
I think there are 2 particular aspects in our life that we can’t afford to lack.
- Money: if I loose my job (or if my company goes bankrupt) I often have little or not enough to live. We need money to pay for everything in our life. It is just unthinkable that we plan on exclusivity for getting enough money.
- Love: who can live without love? A baby would die very quickly even if well-fed, if he doesn’t feel loved. The first thing we’re looking for in our life (and often feeling a lack of) is love! How could we then count on exclusivity for such thing! We’ve learned that the couple is the source of the unique love, but… how does that prove to be true?
My propostion for at least those two aspects is to develop a new goal: abundance in the sources of money and love! And I don’t mean we need to be polygamous, nor being working more! Just looking for another way of perceiving those vital sources.
How your life would be changed if you were sure you couldn’t lack of love and money? Isn’t that already changing everything? Do you think you would be more productive in this world with such a change in framework?
Is that really possible?
If I’m talking about it, it’s because not only am I convinced that it is totally possible, but also because I think that should be the unique mode of perception of those aspects!
How can you change such things? As you certainly know it, every aspects of our life is determined by our beliefs, actions, thoughts, way of perceiving things… And that is totally under your control if you choose to change that!
